AKKC provides partial staffing for technical operations and can, upon request, hire additional technicians, stagehands, riggers, and more at the applicable hourly rate through trusted partners.

If the technical requirements exceed what AKKC’s in-house staff can handle, the client is responsible for providing their own technical operator.

The Head of Production must be present from get-in to get-out.

He will assists with directing to the loading ramp, and with guidance to the backstage area.

Billed afterwards, minimum 4 hours.

The House Technician must be present from get-in to get-out, and will assists with directing to power supply, etc.

The House Technician normally does not operate technical equipment unless otherwise agreed.

Has full responsibility for all equipment flown in AKKC’s stage grid/ceiling and cranes in the hall.

Does not hang equipment on the fly system; a rigger/gallery operator is required for this, booked as needed.

When using smoke machines (including hazers) that require the fire alarm system to be disabled, it is mandatory to have [x number of] fire watch personnel present at AKKC. The cost is covered by the client. Minimum 4 hours.

Additionally, it is mandatory to have the local fire authorities present while the audience is in the building.

Aalborghallen is our largest and most flexible hall, which can be transformed to suit all kind of events! Thanks to movable walls, the hall can be adjusted in size and divided into several rooms. Even the backstage area can be transformed into the coolest venue if you like the raw and industrial look.

The stage is a replica of the old stage at the Royal Danish Theatre, which means we can host large-scale productions and performances that require extensive fly systems and high ceilings.

Backstage AAH consists of a closed-off area with direct access to the stage.

There are 6 backstage rooms of various sizes. Shower and toilet facilities are available backstage. The backstage rooms are furnished.

There is 1 green room with seating area. Eating is only permitted in the green room.

The backstage area is reserved exclusively for the production, and only backstage crew and in-house technicians have access.

Smoking is not permitted in the backstage area or anywhere else inside AKKC. Smoking is only allowed outdoors, directly outside AKKC.

As a general rule, everyone must leave the backstage area no later than 1 hour after the end of the show/load-out.

Loading takes place at the rear of AKKC. There is space for 2 semi-trucks at a time — one at the load-in ramp and one at the drive-up ramp.

Permanent parking is not permitted at the DOK/ramp area.

There is parking available for 3 trailers and 1 nightliner at AKKC. This must always be arranged in advance with AKKC.

Europahallen is our second largest hall, and it can easily be adapted to your preferences with various setups, ensuring your event turns out just the way you want it to.

Besides the hall, there is two balconies with a great view of the stage. Additionally, Europahallen overlooks Kildeparken – a beautiful, green oasis in the middle of the city
