Tom Ballard is one of Australia’s hottest comedians! He has performed all over the world and even survived a roast battle with none other than Jimmy Carr. That says a lot!
In 2009, Tom Ballard became the youngest ever recipient of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Best Newcomer Award for his debut show ‘Tom Ballard Is What He Is’.
He was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015 for his show ‘Taxis & Rainbows & Hatred’, while his 2016 show ‘The World Keeps Happening’ was nominated for Best Show at both Melbourne and Edinburgh and won the Helpmann Award for Best Comedy Performer.
In 2017, his show ‘Problematic’ won the Best Australian Show Award at the Sydney Comedy Festival and was named one of the three best-reviewed shows at the Edinburgh Fringe that year.

Part of Comedy Stop
Comedy Stop is an international comedy festival that usually takes place only in Copenhagen. This year, for the first time, it is also coming to Aalborg from September 5th to 8th, where you can experience top-quality international stand-up. The festival consists of individual solo shows by each comedian, and tickets for each show are sold separately, giving you the opportunity to handpick which shows you want to experience over the days. Read more about the festival and check out the preliminary program here.
